About

My name is Jonathon Kardashinski, and I am a Certified Engineering Technologist, Architectural Technologist, Design Technology Specialist, Designer, and Visual Storeyteller operating out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. My passion lies in leveraging BIM and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and support high-performance design teams. I'm driven by a desire to improve how architecture is delivered—from early design through construction documentation—by aligning people, tools, and processes.

I am currently working full-time as an Architectural Technologist & Design Technology Specialist with Republic Architecture, wherein I work closely with our Architectural, Interior Design, and Mechanical teams to produce accurate, high-quality models & construction drawings, as well as develop & implement custom tools & systems, and serve as a BIM Manager for the office.

Outside the office, I work as a freelance designer & visual storyteller, which sharpens my eye for detail, composition, and visual communication. These creative pursuits enrich my professional work by helping me communicate technical ideas more clearly and persuasively.

Prior to entering the AEC industry, I spent several years as a Multi-Unit Sales Manager, leading teams and driving business performance. That experience honed my leadership, operations, and client-facing skills—skills I now bring into my work in architectural technology.
